She has a new stepmother, a new brother, and a new sister crowding her life, giving her little room to breathe. And things get even trickier when Sunny and her brother are caught sneaking into the local swimming pool - where they bump into a mystery boy whose life is going to become tangled up in theirs. Justin Molina has secrets. He’s served his time but remains a prisoner of his past, unable to forgive himself for failing his family when they needed him most. Justin’s grief is overwhelming, but he keeps silent and focuses on his goals. About to graduate college, he tries to keep his head above water - no matter how many times life keeps knocking him down. When he’s forced to register for a poetry writing class, Justin discovers putting words to his feelings might be exactly what his fractured heart needs to heal. Or is it the older professor with the bow ties and gentle smile who gives him a chance when no one else will?Professor Foster Faraday Harding is a broken man. His divorce is final, and he’s reverted back to the safety of his books. Even his poetry no longer brings him joy; he’s sleepwalking through life. The raw emotion of Justin’s poetry awakens Foster to desires he thought long buried in the ashes of his marriage. When he discovers Justin is struggling financially, Foster offers him a solution that benefits both of them. Soon it’s Foster who’s struggling with emotions he can’t understand: Justin is his student. And a man. One crazy night years earlier doesn’t mean anything. Foster is straight. After months of denying the growing attraction between them, an unexpected kiss changes everything. Justin and Foster are no longer only professor and student - they’ve become lovers, but the strain of hiding their relationship increases with each passing day. Words have the power not only to hurt but to heal the greatest pain. If Foster and Justin listen to what their hearts are saying, they might break through their silence and live their own love poems - together. 1. Language: English. Narrator: Michael Pauley. What Promotive Leaders and Managers Should Know

Preface Collectively, the behaviors determine specific performance-performance that develops a trust-culture, creating an environment for flawless execution, creativity, innovation and commitment, through engaged employees and loyal customers-and ultimately results in positive growth and significant return-on-investment. Napoleon once said: "One bad general does better than two good ones." It takes a moment for the sense of this to register, but it is the same as our modern saying that "too many cooks spoil the broth". Having one set of instructions, even if they are flawed, is preferable to having two sets of perfect directions that, when enacted together without reference to each other, cause havoc. This is the principle of leadership in a nutshell. It is all about maintaining focus and creating positive outcomes. The same can be applied to individuals who strive to become leaders. There needs to be focused and determination. Advice can be given, but does not have to be heeded. History is full of leaders whose beginnings were disastrous, and had they listened to the naysayers of this world, the world would be a poorer place today. Leadership can be learned.

According to N.S. Tasneem, former Fellow, Indian Inst. of Adv. Studies, Shimla, "Parody is an essence of witticism, as it inverts, and not subverts, the truth of a saying. With the passage of time, the human mind is reluctant to register the impact of a proverb even if it has stood the test of time. Something that has become stereotyped is seldom taken seriously for long. But a sly remark or an ironic comment on the age-old wisdom enshrined in a saying or a proverb, may unleash a positive response from the tight-lipped reader. J.S. Anand, who is the author of 'Bliss: The Ultimate Magic' besides several other publications, M.S. Anand and Kiran Preet have taken pains to refresh our memory in regard to the proverbs which have been ignored in the age of tension and anxiety. The authors deserve congratulations on their venture into the field of parody that aims at making the lips smile in the workaday life.

Tales of a Road Dog

You may have never heard of Ron Levy , but he's one heck of a storyteller. He was 'there' and everywhere, back in the day and in person. He's someone you need and will enjoy listening to. Backing up Blues legends since 1966 with determination and much humor, as well as an appreciation for this special time in American musical history, he 'knows'. He went on to record and produce, helping to establish and reinvigorate many artists' careers, while searching and finding his own signature sound. Mr. Levy has got quite a big, full story to tell, as well as thousands of zinging one liners and colorful pranks. And, even a download link to his newest critically acclaimed album, 'FUNKY FIESTA!' - included at the end of your eBook. These 'Tales' are more about the consistently kaleidoscopic cast of characters Levy met -- and the many crazy circumstances he found himself in -- than an autobiography of a celebrated musician/sideman, etc. It's about what he and others saw, experienced and shared with those that were there, too. Superstars like Elvis Presley, Muhammad Ali and everyday people are treated with the same deference, equal reference, respect and levity, exposing various generally unknown insights and candid moments. 'This is a 'tell some' not a 'tell all' book. I figured there's more than enough of that cynical, sordid, seedy stuff out there already; right by the checkout register at your local supermarket, show business biography sections, and on Jerry Springer or Dr. Phil, even the network news. That said, these stories are fun, unique and told with sometimes embarrassing candor, prideful irony and plenty of self-mockery. Not wanting to only victimize myself, I thought it only fair to spread it around liberally to and on all my friends, too! With all due respect I ask you: what are friends for anyway? These are the stories I've told my friends, band-mates and family for years, after returning from my various exploits and journeys or recently jostled to memory. Many have suggested I write them down, and now I have. So I am saying this to you all right now and get this straight; this is not an autobiography, almanac, historical novel, history book, fiction, non-fiction, legal problem, music business, salacious sexy hedonistic expose of debauchery, drugs and sin book, a self-help book, a textbook, religious, mystery, thriller, political, gangster, western saga, spy, adventure, science fiction, Rock n' Roll, etc. book. Well, at least not in its entirety. (But there's plenty of all that in here, just in case!) So, my dear Reader, If you just love good, real music, stories about many of the wonderful characters who contributed to its pursuit and spirit, travel, geography, living history, non-political social commentary, good food, sweet and bitter memories, as well as comical and heartwarming and inspiring tales, then maybe you'll enjoy this humble effort I wanted to share with all of you.
